Coach Niece

Al Niece has coached youth sports for over 20 years.  He is an experienced rugby player and youth coach.  He assisted in the formation of the AAHS Rugby team in 1996 and has coached numerous Westlake players in State and National Tournaments.  In his first year at Westlake, Coach Niece took Westlake to the state finals, placing 3rd.  Niece said "...for our second Westlake season we're looking for enthusiastic new WHS players to add to our returning varsity and JV"...Niece added, "In 2010 we're going for the state championship and on to nationals." ...And we did, placing Second in State, First in the US Western Division Championships (by beating the team that took 1st in State), and Eighth in the Nation.
